BoxcutterBarry Lynn, aka Boxcutter, takes in a diverse range of influences to make a wide spectrum of abstract, but always emotive, electronic music. His debut album, “Oneiric”, was released on Planet Mu, to widespread critical acclaim. It's fractured take on the London-centric dubstep sound drew it many accolades, including being named as one of the best Electronica albums of 2006 in the Wire's end of year review. Boxcutter counts Radiohead’s Thom Yorke among his growing legion of fans. In 2007, Barry released two albums on Planet Mu,Glyphic as Boxcutter and Balancing Lakes as Barry Lynn. In April 2009 the new Boxcutter album 'Arecibo Message' was released to massive critical acclaim and further demonstration of why Boxcutter has become one of Planet Mu’s most consistent acts. Also, look out for forthcoming releases on his own label Kinnego Records.
