The Cyclist/ Buz Ludzha

Named after Natalia Goncharova’s painting The Cyclist, Andrew Morrison started making lo-fi electronic music under the Cyclist alias at age 18 in his home city of Derry, in Northern Ireland. Influenced by an eclectic range of music from Krautrock and 60s psychedelia to early Chicago house, techno, jungle and dub, Morrison has released some of the most forward-thinking dance music that also delves deeply into the past. His albums, Bones In Motion and Flourish are two of the finest electronic albums released in recent years. 2017 looks set to be an even more exciting year for Morrison, with an album due to be released later this year on acclaimed label Hypercolour.
